Appeal for witnesses after A413 collision

Police are appealing for information after a collision this morning on the A413 between Akeley and Lillingstone Dayrell. A blue Citroen C4 left the road and collided with a tree shortly before 8am.

A man who was the sole occupant of the vehicle had to be airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after sustaining serious injuries.

Firefighters from Buckingham and Winslow were among the emergency services at the scene.

PC Matt Braddish from Thames Valley Police said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who may have been travelling in the area at the time and witnessed this incident, and would ask them to come forward and speak to me as soon as possible.”
