Appeal for witnesses after fatal collision in Milton Keynes

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision which happened on the V6 Grafton Street at the junction of Oldbrook Boulevard, Oldbrook, Milton Keynes, yesterday (Friday 25 April).
Firefighters from Great Holm, Bletchley and Broughton were among the emergency services at the scene.
At 11.51am, a black Ford Focus was in collision with an orange/white DAF box van. One of the passengers in the Ford Focus, a 47-year-old woman from Tattenhoe, Milton Keynes, suffered serious injuries and sadly passed away at Milton Keynes Hospital a short time after the collision.
The driver of the Ford Focus, a 21-year-old local man, is being treated for serious injuries and is in a critical condition at Milton Keynes Hospital. A second passenger in the Ford Focus, a 46-year-old local woman, suffered minor injuries and is also being treated at Milton Keynes Hospital
The driver of the DAF box van, a 37-year-old man from Bletchley, was treated at the scene for shock but did not require hospital treatment.
A family liaison officer has been appointed and an investigation into the circumstances of how the collision occurred has begun.
