Mon 11 Jul, 2016

The first ever Milton Keynes Motorbike Show will be held at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes this Sunday, 17 July.

It runs from 10.30am to 4pm, and has been organised jointly by Milton Keynes Council, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, Thames Valley Police and Milton Keynes Advanced Motorcyclists.

Keith Wheeler, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service's Road Safety Manager, said: "Local motorcycle-related businesss have come out in force to support this event.

"Visitors will be able to see a range of new motorcycles, as well as rider training schools, clothing and accessories, or find out motorbike trips and holidays.

"For those who prefer something a little different, there will be a number of highly modified bikes on display."

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service will have a stand there promoting its popular 'Biker Down!' first aid and crash management courses. Click here for more information.

The event is being promoted and supported by Secklow Sounds, the Milton Keynes-based community radio station which hopes to do a live broadcast from the show on the day.

Entry is free, and there is plenty of free parking available around the stadium. More information can be found at www.mkbikeshow.co.uk or the Milton Keynes Motorbike Show Facebook page.
