Marlow flooding update
Fri 21 Feb, 2014
Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service's pumping operations in Marlow have been scaled down as water levels continue to fall gradually.
The Incident Command Unit in Pound Street, where joint service coordination meetings between all the organisations involved in flood relief work have been taking pace, returned to its usual base, Aylesbury Fire Station, this afternoon.
Firefighters are continuing to monitor floodwater and groundwater levels and pump water as required.
All organisations are moving towards to the "recovery" stage, which involves helping people deal with the aftermath of flooding.
