Product recall & safety notice

Community safety staff at Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service would like to draw the public’s attention to a safety notice issued by Hotpoint.
A number of Hotpoint, Indesit and Cannon gas cookers are being recalled because a faulty component can fail, resulting in a gas leak and potential safety hazard.
If you have one of the affected cookers, which were sold last month and this month, you should stop using it until is has been repaired.
Contact 01733 287843 or email email@example.com, and Hotpoint will arrange to repair your cooker by replacing the defective part. About three-quarters of the affected models have so far been located and repaired.
The gas cookers are:
- Hotpoint HAG60, HUD61, HUG61 and JLG61
- Indesit I6G52, I6GG1 and ID60G2
- Cannon CH60GC
All have have serial numbers in the range 31002XXXX to 31016XXXX, apart from the Indesit ID60G2, which has serial numbers in the range 30924XXXX to 31016XXXX.
Model numbers and serial numbers are on a sticker on the inside of the top oven door.
The phone line is open from 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm on Saturdays and 9.30am to 3.30pm on Sundays.
