Currently under consultation:

Public Safety Plan 2020-25 

Public consultation on our new Public Safety Plan, which sets out our draft strategy for the provision of fire and rescue services from April 2020 to March 2025, runs until 10am on Monday 18 November 2019.

The plan was approved for consultation by our governing body, Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority, at its meeting on 18 September 2019. The consultation is open to anyone over the age of 16.

In July 2014 Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority launched a public consultation on its 2015-20 Public Safety Plan. We welcomed feedback from the people we serve as well as those with a specific interest in our service, such as our own staff and other organisations with whom we work.

The consultation period ran until Monday 13 October 2014. 

A summary of all the responses to the consultation was reported to the Fire Authority and fully considered before any final decisions were taken.

The final Public Safety Plan, was presented to Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority in December 2014 where it was approved.

Public Safety Plan 2015-20


Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority launched a public consultation into a proposal to merge Bletchley and Great Holm Fire Stations in Milton Keynes and create a blue-light hub station at West Ashland.

The consultation ran from 10am on Monday 14 September 2015 to 10am on Monday 9 November 2015.

Consultation feedback is accessible, along with the paper presented to Authority members for decision on the proposal.
