Could you please explain to me why senior members of the BMKFRS have had secret discussions with 2 members of the Princes Risborough town Councillors and agreed to trial a scheme between Princes Risborough, Haddenham and Thame whilst this consultation is taking place. The first local residents knew about this was after it appeared in the Bucks Free Pressnewspaper on the 03rd of October 2014. In my opinion this makes a complete mockery of this consultation if you are already attempting to implement the outcome that you want!!!!

Response from Julian Parsons, Head of Service Delivery, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service:

There has not been a secret meeting with two members of Princes Risborough Town Council. At the request of councillors, an officer of this Fire Authority met two councillors to discuss the Public Safety Plan which is currently open to public consultation. During the meeting the future of Princes Risborough Fire Station was discussed and assurances were given that there are no plans to close the local station. There was no agreement with councillors to agree a trial between Princes Risborough, Haddenham and Thame because there are no such plans for such a trial, which would also have to be agreed between Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Services.
