Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015


1)   From Thursday 31st May 2018 to Wednesday 11th July 2018 inclusive (excluding weekends and

      public holidays) between 10am and 4.30pm, any person interested, on application to the

      Treasurer, Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority, Brigade Headquaters,

      Stocklake, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP20 1BD, may inspect and make copies of the above-names

      Authority's accounts for the yar ended 31 March 2018 and all books, deedds, contracts,

      bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto.


2)   During this period, a local government elector and their representatives also have:

    1.           i)     The opportunity to question the Auditor about the accounts.

    1.          ii)     The right to attend before the Appointed Auditor and make objections to the accounts

    2.                  or any items in them. Objections may relate to an item of account alleged to be contrary

    3.                  to law, sums which have not been brought into account or matters which could be brought

    4.                  to the attention of the Authority or the public. No objection to the accounts may be made

    5.                  unless the Auditor has previously received written notice of the proposed objection and of

    6.                  the grounds on which it is made. Where an elector sends notice to the Auditor, he shall at

    7.                  the same time send a copy of the notice to the undersigned.

  2.          Forbury Road, Reading, RG1 1YE, and the audit will be conducted under the provisions of the

  3.          Local Audit and Accountability Act and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015.
