Salaries, accountabilities and responsibilities of the Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive and members of the Senior Management Team and senior managers within Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority.

  • Chief Fire Officer and Chief Executive. Salary: £145,565.21. Directly responsible to Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority (BMKFA). Required to manage Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service (BFRS) on behalf of BMKFA, satisfying the requirements and duties of the Fire & Rescue Services Act 2004

  • Deputy Chief Fire Officer (DCFO). Salary: £120,866.55. Direct all service delivery activities to meet BMKFA’s core aims and objectives and to deliver all Authority operational instructions. Deputise for the Chief Fire Officer

  • Head of Service Development. Salary: £96,179.11. Strategic lead for service development, including seeking future opportunities that both inform and support the Authority’s strategic core aims and objectives through innovative working, collaboration and horizon scanning

  • Head of Service Delivery. Salary: £91,000.00. Direct all service delivery activities to meet the Fire Authority’s core aims and objectives and deliver all Authority operational instructions ensuring the successful performance of operational response

  • Director of People and Organisational Development. Salary: £93,126.00. Provide strategic leadership and direction to shape and deliver BMKFA's Human Resources strategy and the wider organisational development agenda. Be the principal advisor to BMKFA on all workforce and organisational development matters

  • Director of Finance and Assets. Salary: £83,000.00. Act as principal strategic financial advisor to BMKFA, the Chief Executive and its members. Provide technical and professional advice to BMKFA, the Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive, Directors and Brigade Managers

  • Director of Legal and Governance. Salary: £93,126.00. Act as principal strategic legal and governance advisor to BMKFA, the Chief Executive and its members. Provide technical and professional advice to BMKFA, the Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive, Directors and Brigade Managers 

  • Head of Resources and Assets. Salary: (£60,000 - £65,000). Responsible for major development activities within property, fleet and assets along with the development of and delivery of associated strategies, including the delivery of the Blue Light Hub project in Milton Keynes

  • Head of Human Resources. Salary: (£55,000 - £60,000). Provide overall management of the Human Resources function, ensuring that all HR advisory, transactional and administrative support to the Authority is delivered efficiently, effectively, accurately and in a timely manner to enable the Authority to achieve its strategic objectives

  • Business and Systems Integration (BASI) Project Manager. Salary: (£55,000 - £60,000). To drive business change and manage the governance, functional and operational aspects of the BASI project

  • Group Commanders. Salary: (£65,000 - £70,000). 6 x operational. To support the appropriate Head of Service in the delivery of services against objectives and targets within the appropriate service area
