House fire
Mount Hill Lane, Hedgerley
At the height of the fire, eight appliances were in attendance:
- One from Gerrards Cross
- Two from Slough
- One from Langley
- One from Windsor Tinkers Lane
- One from Hillingdon
- One from Maidenhead (Control Unit)
- One from Whitley Wood (turntable ladder)
Along with four officers.
One man, one woman and two children were out of the house before they arrived.
The roof of a two-storey detatched house was 100 per cent damaged by fire, the first floor was 70 per cent damaged by fire and the second floor was 75 per cent damaged by fire.
The firefighters used:
- Six sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- One main jet
- Thermal imaging camera
They removed and cooled one LPG cylinder.
Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service also attended the incident.
