Bonfire spreading to affect hedge
Quakers Mead, Weston Turville
One appliance and crew from Aylesbury attended.
A bonfire measuring around 10 metres by 5 metres had spread to affect a hedge.
The firefighters used one hose reel.
With the current hot dry weather, we would ask everyone to think before lighting bonfires and braziers - grass, hedges and trees can act like a tinder box if a stray spark or hot embers reach them.
A fire can take hold quickly and rapidly spread.
