Car fire
M25 anticlockwise, between Junction 17 (Maple Cross Interchange) and Junction 16 (Denham Interchange).
One appliance and crew from Hertfordshire, one from Gerrards Cross and one from Amersham attended.
One car was well alight on the hard shoulder of the motorway when they arrived.
The firefighters used:
- One set of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel
- A thermal imaging camera
Two men were out of the car, uninjured, before they arrived.
The car was 100 per cent damaged by the fire.
One lane of the motorway was closed while they worked at the scene.
National Highways Agency also attended.
