Cat rescued from loft space

One appliance and crew from Aylesbury attended.

A cat was believed to have been stuck in the wall cavity, of a two-storey house, for more than 24 hours.

The firefighters used small gear and a thermal imaging camera to try to locate the cat through the soil stack panelling of a first-floor bathroom.

The firefighters located and rescued the cat, uninjured, in the loft space of the house. They provided advice to the homeowner, and used:

  • Small tools
  • A thermal imaging camera
  • Lighting
