Chimney fire
High Street, Thornborough
One appliance and crew from Buckingham attended.
A fire had broken out within a large chimney.
The firefighters used:
- Chimney gear
- A thermal imaging camera
- A stirrup pump
Open fire and log burners can generate a cosy atmosphere as the nights draw in - but if you've given your fireplace the summer off and are starting to think about lighting up, please make sure you get your chimney and flue checked out first!
