One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross, one from Beaconsfield and one from Langley attended, along with an officer.

The firefighters provided one man, who had released himself from the car before they arrived, with immediate emergency care, and a thermal blanket. He was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Lane one of the motorway was closed while they worked at the scene.
