Collision involving one coach and seven cars

Two appliances and crews from High Wycombe, one from Wheatley and one from Kidlington attended, along with three officers.

One car was well alight when they arrived. The firefighters extinguished the fire and provided assistance to the ambulance service in caring for a number of casualties.

Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service, Thames Valley Air Ambulance and National Highways were all in attendance. The motorway was closed while they worked at the scene.

Sadly, one woman and one man died at the scene.
