Field fire

Six appliances and crew attended a field fire which destroyed an area of stubble measuring approximately 400m x 100m. Appliances came from Amersham, High Wycombe and Beaconsfield and included a 4×4 from Royal Berkshire. To extinguish the fire and make the area safe Firefighters used;

• Four hose reel jets
• Water back packs
• Beaters
• 4×4 vehicle

A crew from Amersham attended a reinspection 03.00 on the 03/08/22 They used a thermal imaging camera, no hot spots identified.
