Fire in airing cupboard

One appliance and crew from Buckingham, one from West Ashland and one from Northamptonshire attended.

A fire in an airing cupboard had caused smoke within the property.

One woman was treated by South Central Ambulance Service for the effects of breathing in smoke.

The firefighters used:

• Small gear
• A thermal imaging camera
• A positive pressure ventilation fan

The firefighters carried out a Home Fire Safety Visit and installed smoke alarms.
