Fire in bungalow following explosion

Three appliances and crews from Aylesbury, one from Amersham, one from High Wycombe, one from Thame, one from Wheatley and four officers attended. Firefighters used two hose reels, six sets of breathing apparatus and thermal imaging cameras.

A man was injured and taken to hospital, and a woman suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke was assessed by South Central Ambulance Service.

An adjacent property was also damaged. An investigation is taking place into the cause of the fire.
