Fire in derelict commercial building

Three appliances and crews from West Ashland and one from Newport Pagnell attended, along with an officer.

Smoke was issuing from a detached, two-storey, derelict commercial building when they arrived.

The firefighters used:

• Two sets of breathing apparatus
• One hose reel jet
• A turn table ladder
• One thermal imaging camera
• A positive pressure ventilation fan

The fire was in a ground floor storeroom.

Thames Valley Police was notified.
