Fire in living room of ground floor flat

One appliance and crew from Buckingham and one from West Ashland attended.

One woman, one man, two boys, one girl and one baby were out of the building before they arrived.

Firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels, one main jet, and positive pressure ventilation to help clear smoke.

Firefighters provided immediate emergency care to one man for the effects of breathing in smoke. The man was then passed into the care of the ambulance service.
