Fire in rear storage compartment of lorry

Two appliances and crew from West Ashlands attended.

Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera, one hose reel jet and two hay drags.

The small fire was contained in the rear storage compartment of the lorry. Firefighters made the scene safe and escorted the lorry to a suitable location where the contents could be emptied and checked for remaining embers.
