Fire in the open

Tathall, Hanslope

Appliances and crews from Newport Pagnell and Broughton along with an appliance from Bedfordshire attended an incident involving hot spots in a pile of hay. Crews used the following to dampen down and make the area safe;

Two hose reel jet
Hay drags
Fog spike
Water carriers
One light weight portable pump
One portable dam

Crews attended reinspection at 17:00 where no further hot spots were detected.
