Fire in two-storey mid-terrace house

Hatton, Tinkers Bridge, Milton Keynes

Three appliances and crews from West Ashland, one from Broughton, one from Newport Pagnell and three officers attended. Firefighters used two main jets, one hose reel, four sets of breathing apparatus, a turntable ladder and a fan and isolated the gas and electricity.

A man suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke was left in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. The ground and first floors were severely damaged by fire, and there was light smoke damage to the two houses on either side.
