Fire in utility room

Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury attended.

A single storey room used as a utility room, attached to a two-storey house, was on fire.

The firefighters used:

• Two sets of breathing apparatus
• One hose reel jet
• A thermal imaging camera

The fire had compromised the gas supply to the property. The gas provider was notified, and occupants of neighbouring properties were evacuated. A scene cordon and road closure was put in place, and the firefighters isolated the electricity supply.

The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police and the gas provider.
