Fire on top of gas fire

One appliance and crew from High Wycombe and one from Beaconsfield attended a domestic fire in a 2 story semi-detached house. Thames Valley police evacuated the property and the fire was out on arrival of the fire crews. The fire was on top of the gas fire which was in the fireplace. Firefighter removed the gas fire for further inspection.
