Fire within lamp post
Vicarage Lane, at the junction with Victory Road, Steeple Claydon
One appliance and crew from Buckingham attended.
Smoke was issuing from the base of a streetlamp when they arrived. The cause was found to be a burning cable underground.
The firefighters used:
- A thermal imaging camera
- A dry powder extinguisher
- Small gear
The streetlamp was isolated by the electricity provider.
