Two appliances and crews from High Wycombe, along with an officer attended.
The firefighters used a gas monitor which measured a gas leak in one of the flats.
The gas supply was isolated. Surrounding flats were evacuated while they were checked by the crews with the gas monitor.
The incident was left in the hands of the gas engineer.
