Grass fire

One appliance and crew from Newport Pagnell and one from Broughton attended.

Hedges and a field of grass were well alight when they arrived.

Thames Valley Fire Control took more than calls to the incident.

The firefighters used:

• Two hose reels
• One main jet
• A thermal imaging camera

The fire affected the field, a hedge, a fence and the motorway embankment. The area was around 100 metres by 40 metres.

Thames Valley Police was notified of the incident.
