One appliance and crew from Broughton and one from Newport Pagnell attended, along with an officer. Relief crews attended from West Ashland and a second crew from Newport Pagnell.
The fire was affecting approximately 500 tonnes of stacked hay.
The firefighters used three positive pressure ventilation fans, hay drags and beaters. They set up one main jet and a water shuttle to protect the area surrounding the stack.
Later farm equipment, including a tractor, was used as well as small tools and a main jet to turn over and damp down.
One appliance and crew remained on the scene over night and during the following day.
