One appliance and crew from High Wycombe and one from Beaconsfield, along with an officer attended.
Smoke was issuing upon arrival from the lounge of a semi-detached house, which measures approximately seven metres by ten metres.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan to help clear smoke.
The lounge was approximately 50 per cent damaged by fire and 100 per cent damaged by smoke.
The rest of the house was approximately 30 per cent damaged.
The smoke alarm was fitted and checked.
Further advice was given to the occupants.
