Kitchen fire
Prebendal Avenue, Aylesbury
Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury, and one from Thame attended, along with an officer.
Firefighters rescued one woman. They used an immediate emergency care pack to treat her for the effects of breathing in smoke, before handing her into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to tackle the fire, which had started in material close to the kitchen hob. They ventilated the property to help clear light smoke logging and installed a smoke alarm.
One man and two children had got out of the property, uninjured, before the firefighters arrived.
