Kitchen fire

One appliance and crew from West Ashland, one from Broughton and one from Newport Pagnell attended, along with an officer.

The fire was in the ground floor kitchen of a commercial building, which had flats on the floor above. The firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to help clear smoke from the ground floor. The first floor was also affected by smoke logging, which was cleared through natural ventilation.
