Kitchen fire caused by toaster

Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury attended.

The firefighters used:

• Two sets of breathing apparatus
• One hose reel jet
• A thermal imaging camera
• A positive pressure ventilation fan

The fire started in a toaster in the ground floor kitchen of a two-storey house. The kitchen suffered approximately 10 per cent fire damage and approximately 60 per cent smoke damage.
