Lounge fire

Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury attended.

A small fire had broken out in the rear, ground floor lounge of a two-storey house.

The firefighters used:

• Two sets of breathing apparatus
• One hose reel jet
• One safety jet
• One covering jet

A positive pressure ventilation fan

They isolated the electricity and gas supply to the property.

The cause of the fire was found to be underfloor cabling leading to the plug socket.
