Man and woman rescued after becoming trapped in a flat

One appliance and crew from High Wycombe and one from Thame attended, along with an officer.

Part of a building had fallen onto the doorway of a nearby property during strong winds, causing damage to a pitched roof and an external wall, and preventing the occupants of a flat from being able to leave.

The firefighters put a scene cordon in place and used a short extension ladder to rescue one man and one woman.
