One car on fire following collision with barrier

One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross, one from Hillingdon and one from Slough attended.

A car was well alight when they arrived.

One man and one women were released, injured, before they arrived. The firefighters provided immediate emergency care before passing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

The firefighters used:

• Two sets of breathing apparatus
• Two hose reel jets

The car was destroyed in the fire.

The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police and the Highways Agency.
