Rescue of gull from lamppost

Two appliances and crews from West Ashland attended.

The firefighters used the turntable ladder from West Ashland to rescue a gull, injured, which was hanging from a lamppost over a main road.

The road was temporarily closed while the crews worked at the scene. The gull was handed into the care of a vet.
