Two appliances and crews from West Ashland, along with an officer attended.
A road collision involving five cars and one van took place.
The firefighters provided incident emergency care to a man who was out on arrival, injured, and passed him into the care of the South Central Ambulance Service.
They also used a hose reel and dry pads to make the scene safe.
