Tumble dryer fire
Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury
Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury attended.
The firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- A thermal imaging camera
- Positive pressure ventilation to clear smoke
One woman was treated for the effects of breathing in smoke.
The firefighters provided oxygen therapy and used an immediate emergency care pack, before handing the woman into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
