Van fire
High Street, Chalfont ST Peter
One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross, one from Amersham, one from Beaconsfield, along with an officer attended.
A van next to a building was alight on arrival, the people inside the building were evacuated.
The fire had spread to the ground floor toilet and loft space in the building.
The firefighters used:
- One set of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reels
- A thermal imaging camera
- A short extension ladder
Thames Valley Police also attended.
The firefighters carried out a re-inspection of the building again in the morning to check for any hotspots.
