    Alarm sounding, Hannon Road, Aylesbury. One appliance and crew from High Wycombe attended. False alarm good intent.

  • Friday 24 January, 5.58am

    House fire, Hipwell Court, Olney. Two appliances and crews from Broughton, one from Newport Pagnell, one from Bedfordshire, and one from Great Holm attended, along with four officers. Firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, two immediate emergency care packs, a thermal imaging camera and small gear. A man, a woman, two children and a baby were rescued by firefighters, and all were treated for the effects of breathing in smoke. They were handed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Firefighters used four sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, dry powder extinguishers, a thermal image camera, small gear and positive pressure ventilation.

One appliance and crew from Great Holm, one from Broughton, one from Newport Pagnell, one from Buckingham, one from Bedfordshire, one from Northamptonshire and the aerial appliance from Great Holm attended, along with four officers. Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, and positive pressure ventilation to clear smoke.

    Fire affecting two interconnecting industrial units, Wotton Road, Brill. One appliance and crew from Brill, one from Bicester, two from Thame, one from Slade Park Oxford, one from Watlington, one from Wheatley, one from Aylesbury, and the aerial appliance from Rewley Road Oxford attended, along with three officers. Appliances and crews from Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Bletchley attended the following morning (Tuesday 21 January) to provide relief. Firefighters rescued a dog. They used four sets of breathing apparatus, two ground monitors, two main jets, three hose reels, the turntable ladder and hand tools.
