    Small fire in roof space of garage, Talbot Avenue, High Wycombe. One appliance and crew from High Wycombe and one from Beaconsfield attended. Firefighters used one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and small gear. Firefighters isolated the gas and electricity supply.

    Fire affecting lean-to at rear of property, Galsworthy Place, Aylesbury. Two appliances and crwes from Aylesbury attended. The lean-to was approximately 4m by 8m and was fifty per cent damaged by fire. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera.

False alarm, good intent, the smoke was from an earlier fire in the area (Fire in the open, Amersham Road, Chalfont St Peter).

    Fire in the open, Chestnut Crescent, Bletchley. One appliance and crew from Bletchley attended.

    Internal flooding, Cleavers Avenue, Conniburrow, Milton Keynes. One appliance and crew from Broughton attended. Firefighters used a short extension ladder and small gear to isolate the services. 

  • Friday 23 August, 7.29pm

    Fire in the open, Amersham Road, Chalfont St Peter. One appliance and crew from Amersham attended. This was a large intentional but unattended bonfire, approximately 12m by 4m. The fire had spread to shrubbery. Firefighters used one hose reel and cutting gear to knock the fire back to a containable size and put cordons in place to prevent animals entering the fire area.

    Firefighters responded to a call to a fire in the open, Alderbourne Lane, Fulmer. One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross attended. This was intentional controlled burning, so no firefighting activity was required.

    Firefighters helped make the scene safe after the roof of a bin store collapsed, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury. One appliance and crew from Aylesbury attended, along with an officer. Firefighters isolated the electric and gas supply.

    Burst water main causing road flooding, Winslow Road at the junction with Nearton End, Swanbourne. One appliance and crew from Bletchley is in attendance, along with an officer. The burst main was in the middle of the road. Firefighters assisted Thames Valley Police with road closures, and making the scene safe. The incident was left in the hands of the water company.

    Lorry leaking diesel, Bletcham Way close to Browns Wood Roundabout, Milton Keynes. One appliance and crew from Broughton and one from Bletchely attended. Firefighters used two environmental packs, and created a pop up dam to contain approximately 40 litres of spilt diesel after a lorry fuel tank ruptured.
