    Fire in utility room caused by cordless vacuum cleaner battery exploding while being charged, Church Lane, Loughton, Milton Keynes. One appliance and crew from Great Holm, one from Bletchley and an officer attended. Firefighters used one hose reel, two sets of breathing apparatus and a fan and isolated the electricity and water. The battery was bought over the internet but not from the vacuum cleaner manufacturer.

    Collision involving a car and a motorbike, junction of Springfield Boulevard and Marlborough Street, Springfield, Milton Keynes. One appliance and crew from Broughton, one from Great Holm and an officer attended. A man and a woman were injured. Firefighters used one hose reel and one set of breathing apparatus to put out a separate car fire.
