Marlow flooding update

Sat 22 Feb, 2014

With the level of the River Thames still falling gradually, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service has continued to scale down its attendance with pumping operations in Marlow.

Crews are carrying out reinspections, and have been pumping water away from homes in Quarrydale Drive today.

All the organisations who have been working together to support residents affected by floodwater and groundwater have now moved to the "recovery" stage, which involves helping people deal with the aftermath.

In Somerset, the 4x4 Unimog fire engine from Aylesbury Fire Station continues to provide support for the local community. It is currently expected to return on Tuesday 25 February.
