Three charity car washes on Saturday 24 September

Fri 23 Sep, 2016

Charity car washes are taking place at three fire stations in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes tomorrow, Saturday 24 September. They are:

  • Beaconsfield Fire Station, Skelton Close, Beaconsfield, HP9 1EA, from 10am to 2pm.
  • Broughton Fire Station, Hensman Gate, off Childs Way, Broughton, Milton Keynes, MK10 9AP, from 10am to 2pm.
  • High Wycombe Fire Station, St Mary Street, High Wycombe, HP11 2HE, from 11am to 4pm.

All three will be raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity, which provides treatment and support services to serving and former fire and rescue service staff and their families.

The one at Beaconsfield will also be raising money for the water safety charity Kyrece's Legacy, which was set up in memory of 13-year-old Kyrece Francis.

Firefighters from Beaconsfield were among the emergency services at the scene after Kyrece tragically drowned in the River Thames at Marlow in July 2014.
