One appliance and crew from Broughton attended.
One car was well alight when they arrived. One man was out of the car when they arrived, injured. He was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
The firefighters used:
- One set of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- An immediate emergency care pack
The car was around 70 per cent damaged by the fire.
The lamppost was damaged in the collision and by the fire. Milton Keynes Council was notified.
The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.
