One appliance and crew from Amersham attended.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to one man, who was out of the car suffering the effects of shock, when they arrived. The man was passed into the care of a first responder.
The firefighters used spreaders and small tools to make the scene safe. The road was closed while the emergency services worked at the scene.
The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.
