Car fire following collision involving two cars

Past

Two appliances and crews from West Ashland attended.

One car was well alight when they arrived.

The incident generated multiple calls to Thames Valley Fire Control Service.

The firefighters used:

  • One set of breathing apparatus
  • One hose reel jet
  • A thermal imaging camera

The road was closed while they worked at the scene.

The car was around 50 per cent damaged by fire.

The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.
