One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross, one from Beaconsfield and one from Langley attended, along with an officer.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to a number of people who were suffering minor injuries and provided advice. They made the scene safe. One lane of the motorway was closed while they worked at the scene.
The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police and National Highways.
