Incident involving chemicals
West Ashland, Thornbury, Milton Keynes
Two appliances and crews from West Ashland and one from Broughton attended, along with two officers.
There was a strong smell of chemicals present when they arrived.
The building was evacuated.
The firefighters used six sets of breathing apparatus and two gas monitors.
The firefighters ventilated the building.
A small amount of a chemicals, used as cleaning agents at the site, had mixed causing a gas to be released.
They ventilated the area and diluted the mixed chemicals with water.
